WHAT IS CLINICAL MASSAGE?

Is it the same as a sports massage?

Yes and No! Clinical massage is ideal for individuals seeking relief from pain, whether it stems from a sports injury or persistent, lingering discomfort. It caters to those who want to maintain an active lifestyle, including activities like gardening, hill walking, running marathons, or caring for their children/grandchildren.

Furthermore, clinical massage is not limited to specific ailments. It also proves beneficial for individuals with systemic conditions such as fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, or asthma. By calming the central nervous system, it assists clients in managing their respective conditions.

Regardless of the condition you seek assistance for, I am more than happy to discuss your background and explore how I can provide support.

HOW IT WORKS

Each client undergoes a 30-minute online consultation during which we discuss their health history and pinpoint the specific areas they would like assistance with. A range-of-motion assessment may be conducted to provide a better understanding of the muscles involved. During this time, I will also guide you through the treatment approach and outline what to expect during your appointment.

The hands-on treatments take place in the cosy Garden Room in Watchfield, where I have been practicing since 2021 and have successfully treated over 350 clients. Many have experienced reduced pain and improved well-being, highlighting the transformative power of massage and a listening touch. (But don’t just take my word for it; read my reviews here).

A Jing Method Clinical Massage employs a combination of techniques to ensure a holistic approach to your treatment. No two clients receive the same treatment; it is as unique as you are. Multimodal approaches have been proven to yield the best results. In addition to various hands-on techniques, I will provide you with a customised set of exercises tailored to your needs. This may include gentle mobilisation, stretches, or mindfulness considerations. While I do my utmost to support your recovery, I will also offer guidance on additional steps you can take to help yourself
